Bridge of Allan Bowling Club is a well-established bowling club in Stirling Scotland. Situated in the northern part of the historic city, the club was founded in the year 1860 and moved to its current location in the early 1900s. The club has grown throughout the year, offering social and competitive bowling, both against clubs from within the Stirlingshire and Clackmannanshire countries areas.
Our members are a wide range of bowlers with new members always welcome to join. We have had bowlers who have represented the Stirlingshire West County team for a numerous number of years and some bowlers have won Scottish championships, as well as the privilege of representing their country at international able bodied and para-level.
Our Members
Members of any bowling club is its lifeline and our members are encouraged to take an active part in the bowling club. From playing against other clubs in friendly matches, to the fierce (but of course, friendly) internal competitions, our members are the past, present and future of the club.
Joining Bridge of Allan Bowling Club, we are proud of our ‘family friendly’ approach where all members are treated equally and are welcomed with open arms. We encourage members to promote the club and to bring in new members, even if they are new to bowls. The more the members, the greater change of our club having a bright and sustained future.
Bridge of Allan Bowling Club, situated in the picturesque spa town of Bridge on Allan in the north of Stirling, is a club in Scotland offering bowling opportunities to all abilities and ages.
