On Saturday 16 September BofA played host to Dunblane Bowling Club in the annual friendly fixture. In a close competition, Dunblane won by 69 to 67. The individual scores (BofA skips first) were K Wilkie 11 – 12 M Barton, I Wright 18 – 10 L Mackintosh, J McKenzie 22 – 3 M Stewart, F Mathieson 14 – 14 S Morrison and S Ingram 2 – 30 J Borland.

Saturday 23 September is Closing Day when there will be some fun bowls and a barbecue. Members who wish to attend must get their names on the lists on the club notice boards by Wednesday 20 September at the latest.

Wednesday is also Ladies’ Day when the ladies will be served afternoon tea by some of the gents.
