On Saturday, 29 July, Bridge of Allan were hosts to Airthrey Spa Bowling Club for the annual Holbrooke Trophy competition. BofA ran out winners by 66 to 52, retaining the trophy for another year. The individual scores, BofA skips first, were A Cockburn 21 – 13 J Mott, I Wright 17 – 10 S Levey, B Bridgewater 12 – 11 D Higgins and J McKenzie 16 – 18 Lorraine Bannon.
