Friday’s Joker prize was won by Brian Cockburn.

On Saturday the club played a mixed fixture at Airthrey Spa Bowling Club. Bridge of Allan retained the Holbrook Trophy, winning the match by 69 to 51. The individual scores, BoFA skips first, were R Fairgrieve 13 – 20 G Malley, D Cheyne 14 – 9 L Bannon, L McKenzie 23 – 9 M Malley and A Cockburn 19 – 13 J Mott.

On Sunday 31 July Bridge of Allan won the District Top Ten title at Doune Bowling in a close final against Stirling Bowling Club.

On Saturday 6 August the club will play at Causewayhead Bowling Club in a friendly fixture to help celebrate that club’s 125th anniversary.
